Round 2

Round 2 started off with more of the same and Dunne worked hard to keep up his momentum.
However his opponent was growing in confidence and landed some solid punches which seemed to hurt the Dubliner.
Dunne retaliated with some good shots of his own but we could tell now that this was going to be a hard night for him.
The round ended too close to call but maybe the Thai challenger just about had the edge.

Round 1

I was looking forward to the bout so myself and some of the lads got together to have a few drinks and watch the fight while cheering on Dunne.
The Irish boxer was to take on the highly rated Thai challenger Ponsawat(he has a very long last name that is hard to spell and I can`t remember) who had only been defeated once.
Nevertheless we were sure that our man would triumph in the end.
Dunne started strongly and he controlled the round with strong jabs, never giving his opponent any opportunities to do damage.
At the end of the round we were feeling confident if Dunne continued like this he would surely win.
